Celebrate a long life with a happi coat. Gift a bottle of wine. Take commemorative photos with a message board shaped like Mt. Fuji and in our original Mt. Fuji clothing. We offer a wide range of services that can make your special celebration even more memorable. - Q. What options do you offer for celebrations?

We can arrange cakes and flowers on request. We can also prepare special messages on request.
Cakes are available in sizes to suit any number of guests. We can also prepare a cake shaped like Mt. Fuji.

- Q. What is the best rate guarantee?

We guarantee that the rates for reservations on our official website are the lowest available for lodging reservations under the same conditions. If you find a lower rate on any reservations site than the one on our official website (for the same conditions*), weʼll match that rate.

Four to 21 days prior to date of stay: Three days prior to date of stay to the same day: 10% of accommodations charges 100% of accommodations charges The cancellation fee may vary depending on the plan you choose.
The cancellation policy specified for your reservation plan will take precedence, and a cancellation fee will apply. - Q. Iʼd like to give a stay as a gift.
Can I pay in a way that will keep the rate a secret? -

We welcome families, including guests of all ages.
Accommodation charges are based on meals, bedding, and other facilities used. - Q. May I bring a pet to stay with me at the ryokan inn?

We do not accept pets at the ryokan inn.
We can provide information on nearby pet kennels. - Q. Do you offer group accommodations?

Unfortunately, we do not have banquet rooms in which groups can dine together.

Guest rooms
- Q. What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Please check out by 11 a.m.
If you will arrive after 6 p.m., please let us know by telephone.
*We will not provide dinner after the final seating of 6:50 p.m.
In addition, we will not refund dinner charges in such cases. - Q. Do you have non-smoking rooms?

The entire ryokan inn, including guest rooms (and balconies) and the dining halls, is nonsmoking.
For smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes, please use the smoking room. - Q. Is the hot water in guest room baths sourced from the hot spring?

No. Only the Fuji no Yu baths are sourced from the hot spring.
- Q. Do the guest rooms have views of Mt. Fuji?

All guest rooms have views of Mt. Fuji.
Since the ryokan inn stands facing Mt. Fuji, all guest rooms and spots, including the spacious baths and the lounge, offer panoramic views of Mt. Fuji.

- Q. Where are meals served?

Dinner and breakfast are served in the dining halls Fuji and Iwai.
- Q. When are your dinner and breakfast hours?

In addition, we will not refund dinner charges in such cases.

- Q. Do you offer meals for people with food allergies?

Ubuya does all it can to remove allergens from the dishes it serves so that even guests with food allergies can enjoy their stays. Please note that we are unable to guarantee that all allergens have been removed.
- ①For those with egg, dairy, wheat, and soy allergies, we offer a low allergen menu. We are unable to change the content of the low allergen menu or the normal menu or to take steps such as the removal of specific allergen ingredients.
- ②We remove from the menu 4 other specific allergen ingredients and 19 other quasi-specific allergen ingredients.
- All foodstuffs are prepared in the same kitchen. Some admixture of allergens may take place. Please note that our menus, including the low allergen menu, are not completely allergen-free. We ask that guests make the final decision concerning what they consume.
- Since we put guest safety first, we may be forced to refuse to serve meals to guests who could have severe allergic reactions.
- Please inform us at least 7 days before your arrival if you have a food allergy.

Hot spring & spa
- Q. Can we bathe in the hot spring
if weʼre not staying overnight? -
The hot spring is available for overnight guests only.
- Q. Can expectant mothers take the spa treatment?

Due to concerns about effects on the unborn infant, none of the spa treatment options are available for expectant mothers.
- Q. I have a tattoo. May I use the spacious bath?
-
In principle, guests with tattoos are barred from using the spacious bath.
However, you may use the bath if you can cover your tattoos with two 10 cm ✕ 10 cm sheets.
Ask at the front desk for covering sheets. - Q. Can we use the spacious bath
with infants or other children? -
Bringing infants into the bath is left to the guestʼs discretion.
Diaper-changing tables are available in the changing room.
Preschool children may use the spacious bath for the opposite sex.
Shuttle bus & other matters
- Q. Can you pick up guests?

We operate a shuttle bus that picks up guests from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
After 3:00 p.m., please telephone the ryokan inn when you arrive at the train station or other facility. (Prior reservations for pickup at a specific time are not available.)
In addition to train stations, the shuttle bus can also pick up guests at sightseeing facilities in the Lake Kawaguchi vicinity.

We operate a shuttle bus that departs every 30 minutes to take guests in the two directions of Lake Kawaguchi Station and the art museum from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
